Application: New generation patented oil containment boom. Has the rapid response characteristics of a Fence Boom with the high buoyancy of a Curtain Boom. Ideal emergency response containment boom for rapid deployment in harbours and marinas and where water conditions are rough and changeable.
Lightweight, compact, easy to handle, impervious (non absorbent) boom.
Rapid deployment – immediately floats as fence boom with freeboard.
Can be converted from a fence boom to a curtain boom by inflating the top chamber with air. This allows the boom to handle rougher waters or windy conditions. Inflation is via a 50mm Monsun valve.
Excellent boom for emergency spill response teams.
Easy to clean.
Special extruded aluminium end connectors (ASTM) allow multiple sections to be joined together easily.
